Nicosia is the biggest city on the island of Cyprus. It is the capital of both the Cyprus state and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The city is the administrative, commercial, business, entertainment and educational center of the island.

They require that all Turkish and Turkish Cypriot flags be removed as well as all Turkish military forces withdrawn. Only then will they open their side.
